Halloween Jackets

Every year the same thing happens. Someone spends thirty pounds on a costume made of thin polyester, wears it for one night, and it goes in the bin in November. These are the opposite of that. They are real leather jackets that happen to look like something, so the costume part lasts one evening and the jacket lasts years.

What is on this page

Two sorts of thing. Character jackets, which are our take on outfits people recognise from films, comics and television. And straight Halloween pieces built around pumpkins, jack-o’-lanterns and the rest of it, which are just good jackets in the right colours for late October.

Inspired by, not official

Worth being direct about this. None of these are official merchandise and we have no licence from any studio or publisher. They are our own jackets, cut in our own patterns, made to look like something you have seen on screen. If you want a licensed product, buy it from the studio. Order by Tuesday 13 October

This matters more here than anywhere else on the site, because a Halloween jacket that arrives on 1 November is worth nothing to you. Every jacket is cut and stitched in your size after you order, so we need the time. Order by 12pm on Tuesday 13 October and it will reach you before the 31st. After that date we cannot promise it, and we would rather tell you now than take the money.

Sizing, and why it matters more for a costume

A jacket that is too big reads as fancy dress. A jacket that fits reads as the character. Measure round the fullest part of your chest over a t shirt, keep the tape level, and use the table on the product page rather than your usual high street size. If you are between two sizes, take the smaller one for a costume and the larger one if you want to wear it through winter as well.

After Halloween

That is the point of buying a real one. A black motorcycle jacket is a black motorcycle jacket on the 1st of November. The louder pieces, the reds and the blues, sit better with plain dark clothing once the night is over. Everything here is real leather unless the product page says otherwise, and where anything is faux we write faux on it.
