Men's 3/4 Length Coats Jackets

How long is 3/4 length?

When a mens 3/4 length coat is the right call

Three situations. Over a suit, where a short jacket leaves the tailoring hanging out underneath. In real cold, because the extra length covers the part of you that a short jacket leaves exposed. And when you are taller, since a cropped jacket on a tall frame looks like it shrank.

Leather or sheepskin

How it should fit

Room for a jacket underneath, which means measuring over a suit jacket or a thick jumper rather than a shirt. The shoulder still needs to sit on the corner of your shoulder. Check the sleeve length carefully, because a coat sleeve that is short shows more than a jacket sleeve does.
