Kill Bill Yellow Motorcycle Jacket

Bright yellow with a black stripe running down each sleeve and along both sides. It is one of the few outfits in film that people recognise from across a room. That is what you want from a costume. It is also why this yellow leather jacket still works on its own once the night is over.

This is our own jacket, built to the look the Bride wears in Kill Bill. It is not official merchandise and we hold no licence. What we have made is a real cowhide mens yellow leather jacket in the right shade with the right stripes.

Biker, motorcycle or motorbike, it is the same jacket

People ask for this as a yellow biker jacket, a yellow motorcycle jacket and a yellow motorbike jacket. All three mean this one. The cut is a straight biker shape. A banded collar sits at the neck rather than folding into lapels. The zip runs up the middle and the stripes do the rest. If you have seen it called a moto jacket or a racing jacket, that is the same thing again.

Mustard, gold or yellow

The shade sits between a true yellow and a mustard. Under shop lighting it reads gold. Outdoors it reads brighter. Worth knowing if you searched for a mustard leather jacket and landed here, because this is almost certainly what you were after.

What it is made of

Cowhide, the heavier of the two hides we use, so it holds its shape rather than going soft after one wear. Satin lining inside. The front closes with a YKK zip and there are pockets on the inside. Printed graphics sit on the front.

Black stripes on yellow

The stripes are what stop this being plain. A black and yellow leather jacket reads as racing kit as much as it reads as film. That is the reason it survives past October. Wear it over plain black and let the jacket do everything.

Sizing, including plus sizes

A costume jacket that is too big reads as fancy dress. One that fits reads as the character. Measure round the fullest part of your chest over a t shirt and keep the tape level. Use the table on this page rather than your usual high street size. Sizes run XS to 3XL, so a plus size biker jacket is covered as well as the smaller end.

Every jacket is cut and stitched in your size after you order, so we need the time. Order by 12pm on Tuesday 13 October and it reaches you before the 31st. After that we cannot promise it for Halloween. We are a UK shop and delivery is free anywhere in the country.

Looking after it

Wipe it with a damp cloth when it needs it. Use a leather conditioner once or twice a year. Keep it off radiators, because heat dries leather out. Hang it on a wide hanger rather than a wire one. This colour shows marks more than black does, so deal with them while they are fresh.
