Sonic the Hedgehog Racing Jacket
A racing bomber in the blue, red and white that everyone recognises. This one is cotton rather than leather. That makes it lighter, cheaper and a lot easier to wear indoors without cooking.
It is our own jacket made to look the part. It is not official merchandise and carries no licence.
How it is built
The outer is cotton with a viscose lining. The collar stands up rather than folding flat. Cuffs are ribbed knit, which is what stops a bomber riding up your arms. The front closes with a zip. Four pockets, two outside and two inside.
Why cotton matters here
A leather costume jacket is warm. A party in a heated room is the one place you do not want that. Cotton breathes. It also sits at a price where buying it for one night is not a painful decision. It will last a lot longer than one night.
Sizing
Bombers are cut roomier than a biker jacket by design, so the shoulder is the measurement that matters. Get that right and the rest follows. Measure round the fullest part of your chest over a t shirt and check the table on this page. Sizes run XS to 3XL.
Order by Tuesday 13 October
Every jacket is cut and stitched in your size after you order, so we need the time. Order by 12pm on Tuesday 13 October and it reaches you before the 31st. After that we cannot promise it for Halloween, and we would rather say so than take your money.
Looking after it
Cotton is far easier to live with than leather, which is half the reason this jacket costs what it does. Follow the care label rather than anything we could guess at here. The one thing worth knowing is the ribbed collar and cuffs. Knit stretches if you pull it about. Avoid hanging the jacket by its collar and do not drag the cuffs over your hands.
Racing jacket, racer jacket, bomber
People call this a sonic racing jacket, a sonic racer jacket and a sonic bomber jacket. All three land here. Racer and racing mean the same thing. Bomber describes the shape, which is what it actually is. The ribbed collar and cuffs hold it in at the neck and wrist.

Return & Refund
You can request a return, exchange, or refund within 14 days of delivery, then send the item back within 14 more days. Return postage is paid by the customer unless the item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described.If an item has been worn beyond trying on, altered, cut, damaged, marked or returned without its tags, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value, up to the full price if it cannot be resold.
Items must be unused, in original condition, and with all tags attached.
Custom or made-to-measure jackets are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Refunds (if approved) are processed within 5–7 business days after inspection, excluding Stripe transaction fees.
