What it is made of

The outer is 100% genuine leather. The lining is 100% wool, with genuine supple brown sheepskin through it. The hood detaches and is fully lined, so you can take it off and have a straight B3 instead. Three WW2 inspired shades are available.

How it is built

Original YKK Grade A zips run up the front. Two slip pockets sit at the sides. The length finishes at the hip. That covers more than a cropped bomber and still lets you sit down in it.

The fit runs generous

This is cut to a classic generous fit, the way the originals were, so there is room for layers underneath. If you want it closer to the body, order one size down. That is the single most useful thing to know before you buy. Measure round the fullest part of your chest over a jumper rather than a shirt, then check the table on this page.

Warmth

Wool lining, sheepskin shearling and a hood together make this the warmest combination we sell. In October it will be too much. In January it is the reason you stop checking the forecast. Care

Keep it off radiators and out of the tumble dryer. Let it dry naturally if it gets wet. Only use a cleaner who handles sheepskin.
