The details

A band collar sits at the neck rather than folding into lapels, which keeps the front clean. The front closes with a YKK zip. The sleeves have zips at the cuff so you can close them tight. There is padding across the shoulders, which is where a biker jacket takes its shape from. Pockets sit at the sides and inside.

How it should fit

Close through the chest and shoulder. A biker jacket that fits like a coat looks wrong. That is the most common mistake people make buying one. The shoulder seam should land on the corner of your shoulder. Room for a fine jumper underneath is right. Measure round the fullest part of your chest over a shirt.
