Penny Lane Style Denim Duster Coat with Faux Shearling Trim
A long denim duster in deep blue, trimmed down the front, round the cuffs and along the hem with shaggy faux shearling. It falls well below the knee and hangs open, with no fastening.
The Penny Lane coat
Penny Lane is the character in the film Almost Famous whose shaggy trimmed coat became shorthand for 70s style. Ours is our own coat inspired by that look, made in denim rather than suede.
A denim duster
People search for a denim duster jacket, a denim duster coat or a Penny Lane denim coat. Denim makes it lighter and more casual than the suede version, and easier to wear day to day.
The trim is faux
The shearling is faux, not sheepskin. It gives the full shaggy look, and it is easy to brush back into shape.
Fit
Relaxed and roomy, so there is space for a jumper or a cardigan underneath. The open front lets the trim frame whatever you wear with it.
How to wear it
Flares, a fitted top and heeled boots for the full 70s look. A wide brimmed hat if you are going all in. It also works over a simple black dress.
When to wear it
It is made for autumn and winter. Denim is not waterproof, so it is best on dry days.
Sizing
Check your chest measurement against the table. Sizes run XS to 3XL. With a relaxed fit, most people take their usual size.
Looking after it
Brush the trim gently when it flattens. Spot clean the denim. As with any dark denim, the colour can rub onto pale fabrics at first.

Return & Refund
You can request a return, exchange, or refund within 14 days of delivery, then send the item back within 14 more days. Return postage is paid by the customer unless the item arrives faulty, damaged or not as described.If an item has been worn beyond trying on, altered, cut, damaged, marked or returned without its tags, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value, up to the full price if it cannot be resold.
Items must be unused, in original condition, and with all tags attached.
Custom or made-to-measure jackets are not eligible for return or refund unless they arrive damaged or defective.
Refunds (if approved) are processed within 5–7 business days after inspection, excluding Stripe transaction fees.
