It is the cleanest shape we sell, and the one that looks least like it is trying. The opposite end of the same idea is a high collar jacket, which closes right up at the throat.

Most of our collarless jackets are cropped or hip length and fasten with a hidden zip or covered buttons, so the front stays flat. Some have a belt at the waist. None of them have studs, buckles or exposed hardware, which is the whole point of the shape.
