Women’s Brown Shearling Jacket, Billie Piper Style

Brown leather with a huge cream shearling collar, shearling at the cuffs and hem, and black piping tracing the seams. It is the oversized aviator look, warm enough for January and big enough to hide in.

This is our own jacket, made to the look worn by Billie Piper as Suzie. It is not official merchandise, we have no connection to the actor or the show, and we hold no licence.

What it is made of

Leather outside and shearling inside. The shearling is what makes it warm, and it shows at the collar, the cuffs and the hem.

The collar

The shearling collar is oversized on purpose. It folds wide across the shoulders and stands up high round the neck and head when you turn it up. It is the part of the jacket everyone notices first.

Piping and the zip

Thin black piping runs along the seams, which is what gives the brown its shape. The zip sits off centre across the front, and tabs at the hem pull it in.

Sizing

The shearling takes up room inside, so take your usual size and wear a thinner layer underneath. Measure round the fullest part of your chest over a t shirt and check the table. Sizes run XS to 3XL.

Looking after it

Wipe the leather with a damp cloth. Brush the shearling back up when it flattens. Keep it away from direct heat, and use a cleaner who handles shearling.
