Red, burgundy or wine?

Worth answering first, because it gets searched as a red suede jacket. The shade is a deep wine red rather than a bright one. Indoors it reads close to burgundy. Outdoors it lifts and shows as red. If you pictured a pillar box red, this is darker than that, and it is easier to wear because of it.

Suede biker or moto jacket?

What suede actually is

Suede is leather with the inner side of the hide brushed up into a soft nap, rather than the smooth outer face. That is why it feels velvety and why it takes colour so deeply. It is also more delicate than smooth leather, which is worth knowing before rain rather than after. The lining is viscose, so it slides on easily over a jumper.

Measure round the fullest part of your chest over a t shirt and check the size options and the table on this page before you order. Suede softens with wear but it does not stretch across the shoulders.

Looking after suede

Keep it out of heavy rain. If it does get wet, let it dry away from heat, then brush the nap back up with a suede brush. A suede protector spray before the first wear helps a great deal. Never use a damp cloth the way you would on smooth leather, because water marks suede.
