Two colours, hard edges between them, and a lapel collar that opens out rather than standing up. A black and white leather jacket is a harder thing to wear than a plain black one, and that is exactly why people want it. You are not blending in.
Searched both ways, and both land here. A black and white biker jacket, a white and black leather jacket, a black and white motorcycle jacket, a black and white moto jacket. Some people call it a black and white leather coat, though it stops at the hip rather than the thigh. All the same garment.
Real leather on the outside, viscose lining inside. Viscose is the smooth lining that lets a jacket go on over a jumper without fighting you. The white sections are leather too, not fabric panels, so the two halves wear at the same rate.
Most bikers have a stand collar or a wide fold. This one has a proper lapel, so it opens flat across the chest and frames whatever you have on underneath. That is what stops the two tone reading as costume. Worn open it looks deliberate. Zipped to the top it goes back to being a straight biker.
Four pockets across the front and two more on the inside, which is more than most jackets this shape give you. Full length sleeves with zipped cuffs, so you can open them over a watch or pull them tight.
Leather does not stretch across the shoulders, so start there. Measure round the fullest part of your chest over a t shirt, keep the tape level, and use the table on this page rather than the size you usually buy on the high street. Sizes run XS to 3XL.
Keep everything else plain. Black jeans or dark denim, a plain t shirt, and let the jacket be the only thing happening. Two tone leather fights anything patterned, so give it a quiet background and it works.
The white shows marks the black hides, so deal with them quickly. A damp cloth and cold water for everyday dirt. Condition the leather once or twice a year. Never a radiator, and never a wire hanger.
